Experience the Experience: Catapulting Wireless Devices
As BoingBoing noted, the Australian art/prank collective Monochrom held their "Experience the Experience of Catapulting Wireless Devices" demo today. I went down to check it out and it was kinda cool. There's something thrilling about putting your "valuable" technology in harms way for a momentary thrill/fear of loss.
Cell phones are notorious for their ability to recover from being dropped, so most seemed fine, even after being flunk 40-50 feet. Some snapped open, but they were easily put back together.
